Sake Bar at Akatombo City

Japanese Sake is a Japanese alcoholic beverage that is made from white rice. Commonly referred to in Japanese as Nihonshu 日本酒, it has been made in Japan for over 2,000 years. It is characterized by its clear, crisp flavour and at time, fruity bouquet. It can be served either cold, or heated (“Atsukan”).

Sake can be served to compliment food, and at Akatombo’s Sake Bar, Chef Akira Kageyama has carefully chosen a range of Sake to match a selection of dishes. Some of the Sake’s available at Akatombo’s Sake Bar is exclusive to the Melbourne Japanese restaurant and is not available anywhere else in Australia.
